The new CMA Order asks every first-opinion practice to publish a standard price list on its website, in reception and in booking confirmations, and to keep them all current. Feescale is being built to let you enter your prices once and keep every copy in step.

What the Order asks of your practice
The Veterinary Services Market Investigation Order 2026 was made on 22 September 2026. Most of it concerns pricing information, and most of that has to appear in several places at once.
- A standard price listAround forty defined services, priced by pet size where the price varies, on your website no more than one click from the home page.
- The same prices in receptionDisplayed where clients can see them in the practice.
- In every booking confirmationYour consultation fee and a link to the full price list.
- Updated before you chargeA new price has to be published before you start charging it.
- Parasiticide pricesFor your most commonly sold flea, tick and worming products, worked out from your sales.
- Capped prescription fees£21 for the first medicine and £12.50 for each additional one, adjusted each year for inflation.
